Many creams and lotions are currently being packaged in plastic, however, here at Moo Moo Butter, we strive to avoid single use plastics in our homes and everyday lives. While glass is a nice choice for many products, we intend our products to be used by the whole family. We want to insure that there is no chance of breakage if one of our products is dropped.
Therefore, at Moo Moo Butter we have chosen to package our all natural, handmade tallow balm in lightweight aluminum tins. Highly portable, they're easy to toss in a purse, gym bag or pocket. We only use unlined tins, meaning there is no plastic coating that can degrade and leach into your balm. Aluminum tins keep air and light out (the two enemies of essential oils and tallow) and keep our blends safe without risk of disintegration or staining. Better yet, once the balm has been used, the empty container can be reused as a handy pill case, change purse or earbud keeper. It can also be easily recycled in most municipality's recycling programs. Just remove the labels and toss it in your blue or green bin!
