Animal fat on my face? You've got to be kidding me!

I looked in the mirror this morning just before heading to work and I stopped in my tracks.  My skin looked great! And no, I hadn't spent hours perfecting the latest contouring kit.

What kind of witchcraft is this?!
Nope, not magic just good old-fashioned tallow balm.  I have been rubbing beef feet (along with a little olive oil) into my skin for a few weeks now and my skin hasn't looked this good since high-school.  Scratch that, it has never looked this good.

My pores are smaller, wrinkles are less noticeable and breakouts are few and far between.

Wait, you want me to rub fat onto my skin?

In a word, Yes!

Human cells (including those making up our skin) are made up of about 55% saturated fat.  Doesn't it make sense that the best treatment for aging, troubled, or irritated skin is a product that mimics that same biological profile.  Tallow is the answer for leaving skin supple, plumped and protected.

But won't it make me break out?

No, the most common cause of everyday breakouts is dirt being trapped in your pores. Practicing good daily hygiene and avoiding pore clogging ingredients is the best solution.

Both Tallow and Olive oils are known as “Non-Comedogenic”, meaning they won't clog pores.

Since anything we put on our bodies is also absorbed through the skin, we should be mindful of the quality of any ingredients that comprise our skin care regimen.
